I am sick of paying too much for crappy golf putting greens sold at stores. What are some good carpets I can buy? It’s annoying when the ones you get in the stores are only 8×4 or such.
I’d like to mimic a rating of 10-12.
I golf frequently at a private golf course near my house. They serve alcohol on the course (a snack cart drives around) and I sometimes see people bring their own flasks of liquor to the course.
I often see people who are drunk driving the golf carts. Is it legal because it is on private property or could you get a DUI for that?

I’m heading to Philadelphia for the weekend and want to squeeze in a round of golf on Sunday. It’s been raining for the last few days, but it’s supposed to be mostly sunny on Sunday with a high around 84.
I’m going to get a later tee time in hopes of the course drying up, but what type of course is best to play after rain? A wooded course (water isn’t able to gather)? A wide open course (more sun could allow the course to dry faster)? If anybody is from the Philadelphia area, do you have any specific suggestions?
