Golf Tips – Tempo

Todays tip will be about tempo. I’ve always felt that if the mechanics of one’s golf swing are fairly sound other then that the occasional tune up from your pro, youre going to work on tempo more than anything. Tempo is kind of the glue that holds everything together. We all tend to swing too hard or too fast. Golf is a game of distance, in our minds anyway, more than a game of accuracy.     he didn’t say he’s never met someone that “needs” more distance. He’s never met somebody that doesn’t “want” more distance. Huge difference.

    Hi! I don’t need distance, I need work on my tempo and distance control. I drive 300+ fairly regularly, and hit my 3 iron 220+, my 9 iron 145…and just bought new clubs that i don’t hit as far as my old ones with more control. Not everyone needs distance, although I admit my problem is probably rare.
